Heart locket with integrated hinge and clasp - 30mm 3D print model

Hi, very nice model ! Thank you ! I bought it but now just thinking if this clasp will work in metal? did you maybe try it or have an expirience wiht that?

Hi there! Yes it works! I have made these lockets in metal before. The catch usually requires a small amount of fiddling (by bending the tab outward or filing it thinner) once it is cast. There is a sweet spot where the tension is just right for the locket to close securely but still be openable. This will vary between the different alloys used. My model leaves some metal excess to help with this. This is my preferred closing mechanism for lockets, as it is secure but also hidden. Let me know if you have more questions!

i bought it but its closed one piece file very misleading,, can you send seperate files for the locket? this is just a charm not a locket in the stl
