Saint Nino Grapevine Georgian Christian Cross Necklace
A detailed Saint Nino Cross pendant, inspired by one of the most important sacred symbols of Georgian Christianity.
The Cross of Saint Nino, also known as the Grapevine Cross, is traditionally associated with Saint Nino (St. Nina), the woman credited with bringing Christianity to the Kingdom of Iberia, corresponding broadly to eastern Georgia, in the 4th century.
Its distinctive form is immediately recognizable by the slightly downward-sloping horizontal arms. According to Georgian Christian tradition, Saint Nino fashioned her cross from grapevine branches and bound them together with strands of her own hair.
This 3D interpretation emphasizes that traditional construction through richly textured, branch-like beams joined by sculpted bindings. Additional cord winds naturally around the vertical section, reinforcing the handmade, ancient character of the original Grapevine Cross.
The irregular wood texture, pronounced grooves, rope details, and organic construction give the pendant the appearance of a small devotional object shaped from natural materials while translating beautifully into metal.
The design is especially suitable for antiqued or oxidized silver, where dark recessed areas emphasize the wood grain and binding while polished highlights reveal the sculptural detail. It can also be produced in gold, bronze, brass, and other castable metals.
Suitable for resin 3D printing, jewelry prototyping, lost-wax casting, CNC production, and precious-metal manufacturing.
An excellent design for Georgian Christian jewelry, Orthodox religious collections, Saint Nino devotional jewelry, historical Christian pendants, Georgian cultural gifts, and symbolic faith jewelry.
The model does not include disassembled parts and individual items for download. Only seamlessly connected elements into a single whole. Provided that the model does not contain inserts or inlays from other types of materials (gold / wood / diamond inlay). All patterns, bas-relief elements and sculptural compositions are connected in the model using Boolean operations and are not distributed by separate elements.
The collection includes 2 sizes of crosses with a loop.
