Manufacturing InstructionsSoftware Environment: Ensure you are using JewelCAD (JCD) software. Open the JCD file to verify the stone sizes and prong heights match your current inventory.

3D Printing (CAM): Export the design from JewelCAD to your high-resolution 3D printer (SLA/DLP). For heavy necklaces, use high-strength castable resin or wax to prevent the model from sagging or deforming under its own weight.

Sprue Placement: Due to the heavy nature of these designs, place multiple heavy-gauge sprues at the thickest points of the necklace to ensure uniform metal flow and prevent short-fills during casting.

Investment Casting:

Utilize the Lost Wax Casting method.

For heavy pieces, ensure a longer burnout cycle to completely remove all resin/wax residue from the large cavities.

Post-Casting Assembly: Many heavy necklaces are printed in sections. After casting, laser-weld or solder the individual links/components together, ensuring the movement remains fluid.

Stone Setting: Gemstone seats are pre-calibrated. However, because these are heavy bridal pieces, it is recommended to hand-drill prong seats slightly if using VVS diamonds to ensure a secure snap-fit.

Finishing: Apply a high-mirror polish or antique rhodium finish to highlight the deep filigree textures common in this collection.
