A double-sided Nordic-inspired lunula pendant combining celestial symbolism, interlaced knotwork and ornamental bird motifs in a symmetrical crescent-shaped design.
The front side features a crescent moon, sun face, stars and an intricate interlaced knotwork medallion surrounded by a beaded border. The reverse side presents two phoenix-like birds, a central interlaced knot symbol and additional geometric ornamental motifs.
Both sides are fully sculpted and detailed, allowing the pendant to be worn reversibly, depending on which design you want to display.
The pendant uses a decorative interlaced knotwork bail, integrated into the design rather than using a conventional barrel bail.
The design draws on Nordic and broader Northern European ornamental traditions, while the celestial and bird symbolism gives it a distinctive historical-fantasy character. It is not intended to represent a specific archaeological artifact.
