Design Overview
The Elegance Drop earrings are a refined chandelier-style design that pairs a cascading diamond cluster with a lustrous round pearl drop, finished on a secure lever-back (omega clip) closure. Each earring opens with a round brilliant diamond at the post, flows into an openwork diamond-set panel accented with pavé rounds, centers on a large pear-cut diamond, and terminates in a trio of pear-cut diamonds suspended above a 12mm round pearl. The silhouette is elongated and tapered, giving genuine movement and sparkle from every angle while keeping the pearl as the visual anchor. The gemstone layout totals 30 stones and roughly 3.39 total carats: six 5.50×3.50mm pear diamonds (1.49tw), twenty accent round diamonds in 1.00mm, 1.20mm, and 1.40mm sizes (0.121tw combined), two larger 7.00×5.00mm pear diamonds (1.29tw), and two 4.00×4.00mm round diamonds (0.48tw), plus the two 12mm round pearls set in bezel cups with jump-ring drops. Overall drop length measures approximately 39.5mm (23.5mm for the diamond section, 12mm for the pearl), with a width of about 11mm, making it a statement piece suited for bridal, formal, and eveningwear collections.
3D Modeling Details
The file is modeled natively in Rhino/Matrix-based CAD software with full precision geometry suitable for gemological reporting and production tooling. Included is a fully parametric, closed-mesh model with separate solid components for the lever-back finding, gallery/basket settings, prong work, jump rings, and pearl cups, allowing each part to be edited, resized, or re-purposed independently. The submission includes a Gem Reporter breakdown (stone shapes, sizes, quantities, and total carat weight) and a Metal Weight Reporter with calculated gram and DWT values across common alloys (9K–18K white gold, sterling silver, and rose gold), giving buyers accurate costing data before production. Files are provided in native 3DM format along with universal exports (OBJ, STL, and other formats on request), pre-checked for watertight, manifold geometry with no self-intersections, ready for both digital rendering and direct casting workflows.
Manufacturing Suitability
This model is built to real-world jewelry production tolerances and is compatible with wax 3D printing (DLP/SLA resin printers), direct metal 3D printing, and traditional lost-wax casting. Prong heights, basket thicknesses, and stone seats are dimensioned to properly hold the specified pear and round diamond sizes, and the pearl cups are sized for standard 12mm round pearls with a peg-and-glue or drilled-pearl setting method. The lever-back mechanism is modeled with correct clearance and hinge tolerances for smooth function after casting and assembly. The design scales cleanly to other metals (yellow, white, or rose gold, platinum, or silver) and can be resized for different pearl diameters or gemstone substitutions (moissanite, cubic zirconia, or lab-grown diamonds) without loss of structural integrity.
Sales & Licensing
This CAD file is offered for commercial jewelry manufacturing, 3D visualization, and print-on-demand use. It suits jewelry designers, manufacturers, casting houses, and online retailers seeking a ready-to-produce chandelier earring design without in-house modeling costs. Buyers receive full production-ready files plus reference renders (front, side, and 3/4 views in white and yellow gold) and technical dimension sheets for quality control and quoting. Licensing allows use in manufacturing and resale of the physical jewelry produced from the file; redistribution or resale of the raw 3D model itself is not included unless an extended license is purchased. Ideal for stock CAD marketplaces, jewelry design libraries, and made-to-order fine jewelry businesses.
