Product Description
DesignThis listing features a pair of mini turtle-shaped stud earrings where the turtle's shell is formed by a brilliant oval-cut gemstone held in a four-prong setting. The head and flippers are finished with a fine crosshatch/diamond-lattice texture that gives the piece a lifelike, textured shell-and-limb contrast against the smooth, high-polish gem surround. The pair is fully symmetrical, with an overall footprint of approximately 9.00mm (width) × 10.50mm (height including the head) and a gemstone bezel/prong area of 7.00mm × 5.00mm, set to a compact 3.50mm depth. Each earring is fitted with a standard friction-style post and scroll (butterfly) clutch back for comfortable, secure everyday wear. The design is gender-neutral and scales beautifully across finishes — shown here in polished yellow gold with a clear stone, as well as color variations with green and aqua-blue oval gems in both yellow and white gold, making it equally at home as a minimalist everyday stud or a playful gift piece with a beach/ocean theme.
3D ModelingThe model is built as precision jewelry CAD, modeled with clean, printable NURBS/mesh geometry and accurate prong and gallery construction suited for real-world setting. The gemstone is generated from a jewelry-specific gem library (oval brilliant cut, reported at 7.00 × 5.00mm, ~1.32ct total weight for the pair) and is fully separated from the metal shell for easy re-texturing, re-coloring, or gemstone swapping in rendering software. The file includes clean, weld-checked geometry validated with jewelry design tools (gem reporting and metal-weight calculators are included in the reference renders), confirming manufacturability at typical stud-earring scale. Delivered file formats include native 3DM along with STL and OBJ exports, plus other common exchange formats on request, so the model can be opened in Rhino, Matrix, 3DS Max, ZBrush, Blender, and most major CAD/printing pipelines without cleanup.
ManufacturingThis design is ready for production via lost-wax investment casting or direct resin/wax 3D printing, and has been checked for consistent wall thickness, prong strength, and post/clutch fit at true earring scale. It can be cast in 9K, 10K, 14K, or 18K yellow, white, or rose gold, as well as sterling silver or platinum, and the accompanying metal-weight reference chart (covering multiple gold and silver alloys) gives manufacturers an immediate estimate of finished piece weight for costing and quoting. The oval prong setting is sized to standard gemstone tolerances, so the mounting will comfortably accept lab-grown or natural oval stones of matching dimensions, whether diamond, moissanite, or colored gemstone. The geometry is print-ready for both prototyping and final production runs, with no non-manifold errors or unsupported overhangs at typical resolution.
