Fluted bangles have appeared across nearly every major jewelry tradition — from the corrugated gold cuffs of ancient Egypt to the ribbed repoussé bracelets of the Byzantine court and the channeled bangles of Art Deco ateliers. The vertical rib is one of the oldest surface treatments in metalwork, chosen for the way it catches and fragments light while adding structural rigidity to a thin form. This collection presents the same fluted motif across three distinct widths, allowing the wearer to layer them as a unified stack or wear each piece independently as a tonal statement. The scalloped serrated edge adds a fine ornamental boundary that softens the geometry without disrupting the clean linearity of the ribs. Proportioned for a standard wrist, all three translate equally well in precious metals, resin, or wax.
