The letter opener is flat on one side and requires minimal scaffolding. This letter opener is all plastic and is ideal for opening small letters and light card or taped packages. However is tape is being cut it is recommended to clean the plastic to prevent adhesive build up. For cleaning use soap and a scrub sponge to remove adhesive tape residue.
