Chimney Debris Catcher & Mesh Tray with Mounting Brackets
I had an issue in my old house where debris kept falling down through the kitchen chimney. Since my induction hob is located directly underneath, having bits of debris drop into my food was definitely not ideal! To solve this, I designed a tray large enough to catch the falling debris, along with wall-mounting brackets to hold it securely in place. The design consists of a main frame that holds a super-fine mesh screen, supported by brackets underneath.
Print & Assembly Tips:Assembly: Place a super-fine mesh/net on top of the main frame — simply cut it to size and lay it on top. I used 2 brackets for my setup, but I recommend using at least 4 for better stability. I drilled into the wall and secured everything using generic screws and wall plugs/nuts.Material: PETG or ABS (recommended due to heat/kitchen environment).Supports: No.Scale: Adjustable to fit your specific chimney dimensions.Dimensions: 290 mm x 290 mm x 3 mm.
