I took a cooking class while in Italy. We used a gnocchi paddle to make gnocchetti. Gnocchetti is a pasta made with flour and water and shaped like potato gnocchi. As a parting gift, we were given a free gnocchi paddle.
After a a few months, my paddle started to crack. I measured it up, drew in Solidworks and printed with wood filled filament on my Prusa 3d printer. The way I oriented the print would have made for a very weak handle. Instead of printing the whole part, I just printed the ridged portion of the paddle and jammed a 3/8" PVC pipe in the end. No glue was required.
I am happy to say that it works great. I have made both gnocchi and gnocchetti with it.
There are several CAD files available for download: Solidworks, Inventor, Blender, 3dsMax, AutoCAD, OBJ and STL
