Tirupati Balaji, also known as Lord Venkateshwara, Govinda, or Srinivasa, is a highly revered form of Lord Vishnu, one of the principal deities in Hinduism and the protector in the Hindu Trinity (Trimurti). He resides in the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh, India—one of the richest and most visited pilgrimage sites in the world. Devotees believe that Balaji is the Kaliyuga avatar of Vishnu, meaning he manifested in this current age of darkness and chaos to guide people toward dharma (righteousness).
