  • The knob should fit easily in the drawer. If it does not for some reason carefully widen the holes on the drawer. Forcing the knob could cause the drawer to crack.
  • Glue the knob to the drawer
  • Print the rail and slot tests first to optimize your print settings. Faster speeds may cause slight warping which will affect the fit of the rails in the slots. The fast print module can easily be printed 80-90mm/s.

Recommended Settings:

  • 0.3mm
  • 80-90mm/s fast print module and all other components
  • 60mm/s for regular module
  • 5%-10% infill for module
  • 10%-15% infill for drawers

        Great design and prints very well. One tiny problem I found was with the drawer bins. They are a tight fit onto the drawer module and if there is a touch of 'elephants foot' on the bin they can bind tightly. I loaded the STL's into Tinkercad and put a small chamfer on the bottoms of the bins and they work a treat now.

          Hello, I am just getting into 3D printing with a LONGER LK 4 Pro. I purchased your files here as a) they look great! b) I could use some containers to help organize my work bench and c) I need practice printing and these look like they will be time well spent. A newbie question: How long should it take me to print the "Fast" print module... I'm currently seeing a time of just over 3 hours. Just wondered if this is "fast" or if I should be looking into settings for my printer. Thanks, Mike

            Hello Mike, the "fast" print modules take 3-3.5 hours to print. I called them "fast print" because the original module took 4-5 hours since it had to print at a slower speed. The tolerances on the rail/slot have been optimized for 80mm/s and can be printed up to 90mm/s but the fit might be tighter. Happy printing!

            The prints came out okay, but the interlocking bit for the custom drawer is very loose. Also there is no backplate for the custom drawer so things can fall out of the back very easily (although this isn't the case for the non-customizable drawer).
