Most urine separators on the market are prohibitively expensive, and the printer models I've come across are either too large for a hobbyist print bed, have to be printed in multiple pieces, and/or use massive amounts of filament for support. What's worse, either case may ask you to cut out a section of the solids bucket. With those things in mind, I designed this separator to print completely without supports, fit to the side of the standard solids bucket (size is adjustable +/- 10% while still fitting the rim of the standard 5 gallon bucket.

The drain can either be fitted with a store bought sink drain (be sure to use plumbers putty) or attached directly to the drain plumbing with a rubber connecter. However, I designed it to attach to the maintenance lid and sit directly into a reducing coupling, so it will be out of the way of the solids bucket when time to empty.

Recommend glazing with epoxy or or similar coating before use as some filaments will absorb moisture. We don't want that.
