DESCRIPTION

This model is created in 1:200 scale and represents the Japanese battleship Yamato in her April 1945 configuration, just prior to Operation Ten-Go.

The model is based on the latest edition of Anatomy of the Ship: Yamato and Musashi by Janusz Skulski and Stefan Draminski, ensuring a high level of historical accuracy and detail.

The model is fully divided into parts and designed for assembly following detailed instructions. The goal was to replicate the experience of building a high-quality kit model “out of the box.”

Large components, such as the hull, are split into structurally logical sections for easier printing and assembly. Internal transverse connectors are carefully positioned to ensure precise alignment when the hull is divided in the slicer due to 3D printer build volume limitations. This allows for accurate and secure joining of the hull sections after printing.

All parts have been checked and prepared for 3D printing.
