3D model descriptionIt looks that earth is not flat so we have to deal with time zones.Original design, hand-drawn by a human! This design is truly unique, simple and accurate: there are no other versions equal to this one, the map is absolutely original and functional.
This 3D model is highly customizable: you can remove and scale details separately based on the purpose and size of your print bed!collage4.png
How can I use it?You can use it in 3 different ways:Universal time converter: Place a 24-hour clock in the center of the disc and rotate it to find out the time in another country!Classic automatic clock: Add standard hands and hang it on the wall!
Unique and elegant decoration: No hands, no discs with time, use it to decorate a corner of your home or office!
How does the converter work scientifically? On the right, the time is +, on the left, it's -.For example, if you're in Italy and it's 2 a.m., the rotating clock in the center of the map will show you that in China, there are 7 hours ahead (i.e., in China, it's 8 a.m.). In fact, on the map disk, you can see that Rome is +1 while China is +8 compared to 0.collage3.png
Which version should I print? There are currently three versions:the detailed version (large-format printing, fine tip),the minimal version (which is also free for personal use; if you'd like to try it before purchasing the commercial license, you can find it on my profile!),there's a third variant that's somewhere in between these two (it can be printed in small formats; check the design's readability with the slicing software!).
The pins:You can glue a pin to an elegant disc and never remove it, or you can insert a pin into the hole in the center of the disc and remove it whenever you want, for any reason, even to transform it into a classic wall clock. My favorite version is the elegant disc you rotate by hand, without the pin; it's fantastic!!
There are many variations of the rotating wheel, here's which one to choose:If you print small, print the very tiny one;if you print large, my favorite is the Only Time Converter Elegant Rotating Wheel.stl, which, unlike its copy without Only Time Converter in the title, only has two clocks for the conversion (while the other version has both a normal clockwise clock and a small time converter in the center).Initially, there were rotating discs with the normal clock, but I removed them to avoid confusion. Now you only find the detailed double one or the converters.collage5.png
Tactile, human-friendly!You can print it multicolored (based on heights or by separating the parts), but you can also print it in monochrome (thanks to the great amount of detail!).Suitable for blind people: the tactile texture doesn't necessarily require the use of different colors! The reliefs will suffice.
Updates:I will continue to update this 3D model! I'll improve the details and customization. :)
Commercial license:Yes, you can print and sell this 3D model. You can also use it for renderings and video games! You cannot redistribute the individual model or its parts; you can only sell physical prints or renderings.
