DESCRIPTION

This drow spiderweb tiara arose from an order for a one time larp character. The character needed an obviously reference to the spider godess Lolth. Because the character was a fighting one the headpiece does not only crown the head, it also has a lot of places to fasten the whole thing to your head with bobby pins. The underlying bars and the wavy hair hoop are specially made for tieing a lot of fake hair and fake dreads onto. The tiara was fdm printed (with a lot of support structure that was hard to remove), spraypainted with black and drybrushed with silver. It sits on the head like a headband behind the ears and covers a large part of the forehead.

The wavy inner bow has a width of 155mm and a height of 100mm. The thin parts of the web have a diameter of ~2mm. Keep that in mind if you have to scale it down a lot and make sure your printer can handle that. I recommend water-soluble filament for the support structure or a resin printer.
