Inserts for .30 Cal Metal Ammo Box (17.8 × 9.5 × 27.6 cm)

These inserts are designed for revolver Moon Clips. In my setup, I stack 4 × .38 Special Moon Clips per rod, but other calibers will also fit—just fewer clips may fit per rod.

Up to 3 inserts can fit side by side. I use a mix: one box for loading tools and empty cases, and two bases for Moon Clips.

The rods reach just below the box lid, preventing clips from falling out during transport. If you like, you can use the platform with handle, or if you fill the rods to the top, you can grab the rods directly and skip the platform’s central handle hole.

Depending on shrinkage and print accuracy, glue may be needed to secure the rods. On my Anycubic Kobra S1 with ABS, they hold perfectly without glue.
