Accurate 3D reconstruction of the exhaust and intake manifold for a Lister LR1 diesel engine. Ready for metal 3D printing
This detailed CAD reproduction is based on the original cast iron manifold for the Lister LR1 stationary diesel engine. When my original part was cracked and missing half the exhaust side, I scanned it using a Revopoint Miraco Pro and rebuilt the model from the ground up in CAD. I stayed as close to the original geometry as possible. Curves and draft angles were carefully replicated so the reproduction fits and looks authentic on the engine.
A PLA test print verified the fit, and the model is optimized for metal 3D printing (SLM). The exhaust threads have been replaced with a 30mm smooth bore, allowing for thread tapping or welding on an exhaust coupling.
Files include the reproduction STL and the 3D scan STL. Ideal for restorers needing an accurate, functional replacement manifold ready for metal printing.
