Hot Toys style Clone Trooper hands 3D print model
Description
These are sculpted to resemble the Hot Toys Clone Trooper hands
UPDATE Now includes both a left and right hand for each hand pose
-Scaling and slicing is up to you
-I recommend either resin printing the hands in a flexible material or molding and casting in a flexible material
-Includes a relaxed hand and a more closed hand for gripping guns
-Also includes a Clone Trooper hand armor plate made to fit into place
Feel free to modify if needed and make physical copies. Just don't sell the digital files please.

Thanks for making these, I find right around 22% scaling to be equivalent to 1/6 Scale

I now have the files, and have a question. I have both a dc15s, and a dc15a model, is there a certain size I should make them to fit the hands?

Hmm, I'm not 100% sure. I would measure the Hot Toys ones and use whatever scale those are :)

Do the files come with left and right hands?

It comes with just the right hand, but you can easily import it into your slicing software of choice, duplicate, and mirror it :)

I am new to the whole 3d printing thing, I don't know how to scale these hands to 1/6th scale. Any Tips on how to do it.

Hi! You'll want to import one of the hands into your preferred slicing software (I use Chitubox) after you do that I would orient the hand to where it's standing upright like in the first photo. After that, scale the hand along the "Z" axis. The "trigger" hand should be about 30mm tall and the "relaxed" hand should be about 32mm tall :) I hope this helps! Both the hands and plates are great quality; the open hands can be printed easily but the trigger hands should probably be printed with a flexible resin and also right around 22-23% scale matches other 1:6 scale figure hands. Thanks!
