DESCRIPTION

in 1957 the U.S navy commissioned a new naval gun system which was conceived with a gas operated breech or as a twin barreled revolver cannon. This prototype gun was ultimately never produced due to lack of funding. This is what round this prototype gun would have used. it is an APHEBC round which most likely would have been able to penetrate around 100-150mm of armor.
