The files include the following:
- SC-30 Helmet:
- Separated into many STLs for easier printing and post-processing (sanding, painting, etc.) See exploded view image for reference on the separated parts.
- Includes combined helmet .stl for sizing, miniatures, etc.
- All parts are included in the files, no need for copying or mirroring parts. Most parts are orientated for best printing in FDM. Use split into objects feature in the printing slicer if you want to separate left/right parts in an stl.
- Visor and lenses.
- Could be printed in clear resin with a resin printer, otherwise these are very simple parts that could be replicated with PETG sheets and reflective window tint. The helmet has holes to attach the visor with M3 screws.
Helmet pieces all fit 300 x 300mm printers (some parts must be sliced further for smaller ones). All parts account for FDM 3D printing tolerances. Tree supports recommended.
HARDWARE USED:
Magnets (Link for the kit I used is in a .txt file inside):
(~20) 10x2mm, (~24) - 8x2mm(12) - 3 x 3mm (optional for holding googles up)
M3 screws of different lengths and nuts (a 50mm one could be used for the goggles hinge).
