This part was designed to allow phones with a large protective case to fit comfortably on the Tesla Model 3's phone rest. It's very simple to install. To remove the old piece, raise the platform and slide the piece to the left and then lift it off. Install the new piece in the reverse order. This part will not fit all years, makes, or models. If your Model 3 center console looks similar to the pictures listed, then it will work for your car. Once installed, the center console doors will still open and close as designed by the manufacturer.

Some of the parts of this model are very small, so printing with an FDM printer is possible but not ideal. Using a resin printer is preferred to prevent those small parts from breaking, and it will give the print more resistance to things like warping from the heat on a hot summer day.
