Articulated B1 Battledroid with droid brain!

This is our most complex design to date. We wanted to do something a little different and have the head hollow with removable faceplate joined with magnets so you can have access to the brain.

This design is based on the only known inner workings of a droid in the DK Star Wars complete visual guide.

It also has the small neck piston that you can join with real nuts and bolts. The upper head joint swivels, tilts and rotates using a real nut/bolt which is hidden by the ear coverings. And it also fully rotates from the bottom neck joint which means you can have it flat on a desk/shelf or mounted on the wall.

The bottom neck joint is corrugated to help with positioning but I also designed it to use a big whacking bolt through it which you have access to tighten by the shoulder plates also removing with magnets, so it’ll have no problem staying in position whether flat or wall mounted.

Print the Neck piston at 100% Infill.
