Volkswagen Golf II Country - Body and Interior 3D print model

This is a 3D model of Volkswagen Golf II 'Country' version - body and interior - specifically designed for 3D printing.

I made this one on a specific customer request and it was meant to be used as body for a RC car chassis. He also wanted to have the interior parts so they are added too, but in a way to be easily removed. The bottom floor plate is designed in a way so it can be easily cut out.

It's sliced to fit 200 x 200 x 300mm printable area (e.g. in this case it was for 3D Printer Ender-5).

The scale is 1/12 compared to the original car (you can also rescale it in your software if you wish). Total dimensions when assembled: 503x218x156mm

It's made from separate parts (27 in total - all in separate STL files) with hinged doors and hoods and special locking design for them, meant to be used with small magnets (3mm diameter, 1mm thick - which should be easily found in your local hardware store (you will need 18 of these)).

For the hinges you can use 1mm copper (or other realatively soft metal) wire and pinch it in the ends to make it stay in place. For the guiding pins (1mm diameter), you can use wathever you want - they are just to help you align the parts when you glue them, but will also sthrenthen the construction. The glass parts are made a little bit bigger so you can polish and fit them better in the frame.

Have in mind that depending on your printer resolution and material used, some very small details may not print well.
