DESCRIPTION

For all motorbike enthusiasts and Gear Heads... Now you can have a unique way to display all of those shop manuals! A good friend of mine that rides motorbikes handed me two carburetors and said, Here, make me some book ends So, after some noodling, I reverse engineered some cylinder heads to hold them and then fired up the 3d printer to print them out. I wanted to utilize some contrasting materials to highlight the metal parts while also creating a motor bike feel. So, I constructed the base from hardwood and stained it black and then added a stripe of painted aluminum to mimic the stripe that you might see on a gas tank. The combination of materials came together really well and the 3d printed parts look very realistic when combined with the other parts.
