DESCRIPTION

These are the files for creating a highly durable mounted bag for the popular Ninebot Max (G30, G30D, G30E, G30D 2, G30E 2,) electric kick-scooter by Segway-Ninebot.

  • awesome design by highly experienced 3D-print designer
  • no overhangs, low-risk print
  • especially suitable for transporting a battery (scooter modification)
  • internal cable duct (usage optional)
  • personally tested for over 6000km carrying 4kg!
  • should last for the entire scooter lifetime and beyond

STLs included:

  • black base part that fits snugly on the scooter
  • symmetric internal white rails
  • a stand
  • useful tiny screw driver for hex drivers

You'll need to prepare:

  • 1x Wild Man electric scooter bag 2L (2 liters) with velcro straps (not the plastic mount!). It must look absolutely identical to the one pictured.
  • 6x M5x20mm ISO 10642, DIN 7991 countersunk inner hex screws
  • 6x M5 ISO 4032, DIN934 hexagonal nuts (fit the screws)
  • 1x stainless steel hose clamp, 23.5mm (2-1/16to 3) width, size 40-63mm or 52-76mm or similar
  • black electronic cable heat-shrink tubing that fits in the hose clamp. The one for diameter 9.5mm shrinking down to 4.7mm fits nicely and tightly, but other sizes may be in range, too. Cut a piece of 84mm length.
  • 50mm wide black electrical insulating tape

Tools:

  • steel nails
  • scissors
  • a (tiny pocket) knife
  • heat gun
  • interchangeable screw driver hex tips

Assembly: (also please have a look look at the pictures)

  1. Cut off all straps from the bag. Use a yarn removal tool for maximum beauty.
  2. Make the inside of the big black base part high-friction by placing a piece of electrical tape there. This also protects the frame from scratches.
  3. Cut off the internal dividers in the bag if you want (this makes screwing much easier).
  4. Insert one rail into the bag. Make sure it fits perfectly, there should be no visible gap. Use it as a template for making holes for the screws using nails. Widen the holes until the screws can fit through. Repeat with the other rail.
  5. Heat-shrink the heat-shrink tubing onto the hose clamp so it won't scratch the frame of the scooter. Use a heat gun.
  6. Thread the hose clamp through the big black base part. (You won't be able to do this later)
  7. Put a nut into the big black base part and screw the respective screw through the rail and through the bag and through the big black base part into the nut. Repeat for all six screws. Don't over-tighten, the bolts are obviously much stronger than the plastics. Use the tiny disposable holders for your regular hex drivers.
