This 3D model adds an air intake for the side grilles that moves the air from the front to the side to create an air curtain on the side of the wheel for better aerodynamics as seen on newer models. Parts fit the 2014 Scirocco R facelift for those who retrofitted the bumper and doesn't have the extra cooler on the left side. This modification requires rework of the front fender linings. There are two intake types, one standard that just moves air to the wheel arch that will fit both sides (right side will need some rework of the blocking plate on the grille to allow airflow) and the other type is a combined air guide and air intake that could be used for either brake cooling or as a ram air intake and will as standard only fit the left side because of the washer fluid reservoir on the right side. The intake will need an adapter where the hole pattern for the air intake is 82mmx82mm arond a 96mm ID tube.

MountingThe kit does not need any fasteners, as you reuse the fasteners already in place where the air guides meet the grille. Step 1: Remove apronStep 2: Remove the two screws on each side that corresponds to the mounting holes on the air guides.Step 3: Cut a hole or remove blocking plateon the right side grille (a replacement might be made at a later date if the demand is there).Step 4: Mount airguide on the grille, making sure the lower pin towards the center is placed in the opening behind the oem stiffening bracket.Step 5: Place the side air intake so the mount sticking out from the center of the part alligns with the square hole on the bumpers stiffening bracket and slide forwards.Step 6: Screw in the screws that were removed in step 2 and one scre from the fender lining.Step 7: Allign the bumper on the car and cut the fender lining as not to interfare with the parts.Step 8: Mount bumper
