Gengetsu Hōzuki (鬼灯幻月, Hōzuki Gengetsu) was the Second Mizukage (二代目水影, Nidaime Mizukage, Literally meaning: Second Water Shadow) of Kirigakure. He was also a member of the Hōzuki clan. During his lifetime, Gengetsu had a mutual enmity with the Second Tsuchikage, which ended in both men killing each other in what would be their final confrontation.[2] From this rivalry, he also knew Ōnoki when the latter was a child and had constantly picked on him.
