Particular flier squadrons made it their modus operandi to load up on magazines of oxidizate shells, achieve altitude and let loose with a relentless cloud of metal eating projectiles. Even with the horrific consequences we have witnessed, no soldier was ever caught and tried for war crimes.”_
Previously available on Shapeways (Model ID: UQMSXFPUP), the Defenestrator is based on the X12 Scrapmaker autogun in the War for Cybertron video game. The Cosmic Defenestrator comes with a main handle that can be mounted in 2 positions, as well as an auxiliary handle on a balljoint. This second handle can be clipped onto any 3mm rail, and can be used to offer additional support for the Defenestrator’s weight. Also, this set comes with a laser sight accessory (scope).
The Defenestrator measures 10.9 cm long and comes in 5 parts. Be sure to download and print all required parts before assembly.To keep up with the times, a variant is included with 5mm diameter ports on each barrel for use with blast effect parts.
Printing Tips:
This model have been successfully printed in SLS nylon, and have not been tested on FDM or SLA printers.
For FDM: it is probably best to print it oriented vertically, using small layer heights (~0.1 - 0.15mm). Using a small nozzle diameter such as 0.2mm will not hurt either. However, the side 3mm bars might be weak if your inter-layer adhesion is poor.
For SLA: The c-clip of the scope will flex for normal use. Ensure that your resin used allows some deformation to avoid breakage of the clip under pressure.
