Press-to-Spin Squishy Ball
Looks like an ordinary squishy ball... until it starts spinning.
Inspired by the classic spinning top, this unique mechanical fidget converts a simple press into smooth rotational motion.
How It Works
Press
Spin
Release
No twisting.
No complicated setup.
Just one smooth movement and satisfying mechanical action.
What's New
Recent design improvements provide:
More stable and consistent spinning performance
Easier multi-color assembly with interchangeable outer pieces
Better alignment during compression for smoother operation
Precision Mechanical Design
Inside the toy is an advanced mechanism that transforms linear pressure into rotational movement using:
Ball Screw System
Mechanical Clutch
Elastic Return Mechanism
Dual 608 Bearings
A simple appearance hides surprisingly sophisticated engineering.
Comfortable to Hold
Rounded edges and smooth surfaces make it comfortable for extended use while maintaining a clean, premium look.
Required Hardware
Only two common parts are needed:
2 608ZZ Bearings
1 Rubber Band
No magnets required.
No glue required.
608ZZ Bearing Size
22 mm Outer Diameter
8 mm Inner Diameter
7 mm Thickness
Assembly Tip
Apply a small amount of grease or light lubricant to the clutch surfaces during assembly for smoother and quieter operation.
Rubber Band Compatibility
Works with most rubber bands between 28–40 mm.
Different bands change the feel:
Softer: lighter press
Stronger: quicker return
Tighter: firmer resistance
Choose the feel you prefer.
Optional Flywheel Weights
Integrated weight pockets allow optional installation of M5 nuts to increase rotational inertia and extend spin time.
The toy performs great with or without additional weights.
