The Luchs (Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. L “Luchs”) was a German light reconnaissance tank used during World War II. Small, fast, and highly maneuverable, it was designed for scouting and screening missions rather than direct combat. Despite its light armor, the Luchs carried a 20 mm KwK 38 cannon and a coaxial machine gun for self-defense.
