The Awakening of Aethelgard

This model was meticulously sculpted from a digital block of virtual clay, inspired by the neoclassical marble sculptures of the 19th century. The creative process began with a focus on human anatomy and the fluid movement of fabric, aiming to capture a moment of stillness in a divine being. Every feather on the wings was individually layered to ensure a realistic texture that catches shadows perfectly when printed.

The design was conceived as a centerpiece for collectors who appreciate fine art and mythology. Unlike standard models, this piece was engineered from scratch with a balanced center of gravity, making it ideal for large-scale resin printing or detailed FDM displays. The drapery of the gown was simulated to flow naturally around the figure, providing a sense of weight and realism that brings the character to life.
