1. Prepare the ModelImport the STL/3MF file into Bambu Studio and select the appropriate profile for the Bambu Lab A1 Mini. Orient the model so that the main body and base have maximum stability on the build plate.
2. SupportsEnable Organic/Tree Supports for overhanging areas such as the arms and hands, legs and feet, head/face details where required, clothing overhangs, and other steep overhangs. Avoid excessive support placement on visible surfaces to minimize post-processing marks.
3. SlicingStandard display print: 0.20 mm layer height, 10–15% infill, 3 walls, and Organic supports. Higher-detail print: 0.12–0.16 mm layer height, 3–4 walls, 10–15% infill, Organic supports, and variable layer height enabled.
4. PrintingLoad PLA Silk filament and allow the printer to perform its normal bed-leveling and calibration procedures. Avoid unnecessarily aggressive speeds; a moderate outer-wall speed helps maintain a smoother and more consistent metallic appearance.
5. Post-ProcessingAllow the model to cool completely. Carefully remove it from the build plate, remove supports gradually using flush cutters and/or pliers, and clean support marks with a hobby knife if necessary. Lightly sand visible support contact points if required.
