Print-in-place Articulated Dragon!!
Huge, very flexible, and printed in one piece without supports. Just the mustache needs to be assembled after printing (see video example).
It can be scaled up or down as much as you want (the limit is your printer capabilities).
Multicolor 3MF file included!
For resin printing, check out Uncle Jessy's video with lots of tips and recommendations.
For delicate prints, such as tiny sizes, metal sintering or just if you need extra strength for the horns, I've added the Short Horns version.
Check my other articulated designs here!
Disclaimer: The Dragon doesn't stand upright. Some pictures have been taken using a metal wire stand for display purposes.

3D printing settingsA good first layer is mandatory for the print to succeed. Be sure your printer is calibrated and you have good bed adhesion. I recommend a slow and thick first layer (8 mm/s and 0.3 mm).Good layer cooling is also recommended, as it prevents curling and warping on overhangs.
Stunning Crystal Dragon! Print in Place with no supports!! Personally designed to be very flexible -but watch out it is pokey! ;)
Curled up to print, but sits at 2ft long!!
File Contain:
- Original Crystal Dragon Curled (Harder to print the feet, make sure you have good adhesion and level print bed)
- Flat feet Curled (easier print with better feet adhesion)
- Straight Flat Feet Model (much smaller and meant to be enlarged for treadmill printers, joints might fuse if printed this small by normal printer)
- For Rectangular Print Beds
- Coiled (with and without supports). Great for resin printing. Edited model created by Online Handle Red Syns. Thank you!
- Sized at 60% to fit Resin printers (Elegoo Saturn). Edited model created by Hoosegow_industries. Thank you!
