A fully functional 3:1 planetary gear model designed for easy printing and simple assembly. This compact mechanism is perfect as an educational demonstration of how a planetary gearbox works.

Its small size allows it to be used as a stylish keychain accessory, and it also makes a great engineering fidget toy.

For proper assembly, you will need eight M2×2.5 screws and one small screw to secure the handle. Alternatively, the model can be assembled using glue.

3D printing settingsThis model can be easily printed on any FDM or resin 3D printer. For FDM printing, it is recommended to use PLA filament with a 0.2 mm or 0.4 mm nozzle. All parts can be printed without supports.

You can also use different filament colors for the individual components if desired.
