I have been meaning to do this design for some time, but after a recent visit to the railways in the South East (England), I saw this fence at many of the stations I visited. These fences are commonly used on the back of platforms or around railway station locations.
I have designed this model with various length sections, with a 21mm distance between posts and a 20mm-high fence.
I have four section lengths 43mm, 85mm, 169mm and 253mm and these have a post at both ends. I have also done the same lengths but one end doesn't have a post, so it can be slotted into the other sections; these are labelled with ext at the end.
I have designed this fence primarily to be printed on an FDM printer with a 0.4mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.12mm, but it will print better with a 0.2mm nozzle and a smaller layer height. Has been designed to be printed in the correct orientation with no supports needed. This model can also be printed easily on a resin printer, but recommend printing at 20 20-degree angle.
This item has been designed at OO gauge, 1/76 scale.for HO gauge print at 87%, 1/87 scale, for O gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 scale, for O gauge American print at 158%, 1/48 scale, for N Gauge UK print at 51.5%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not test printed this in N gauge scale).
These items has been tested on a Bambu Labs 1 Mini.
