DESCRIPTION

Please note the following: these inserts are designed to be printed in vase mode and therefore you will have to set up your Slicer correctly, also keep in mind that in vase mode you have to print one piece at a time. Please do NOT print in the normal mode, as the pieces would be unusable, and you would be wasting material and time

These are 3D printable inserts for the Tales of Evil board game, designed to organise the components (miniatures, tokens and cards) inside the original box.

The vase mode has many advantages:

  • The prints are very fast to make, with a Prusa mk3 (I wrote my settings below) I printed everything in less than 3 hours!
  • It is well known that the vase mode produces better quality wall prints, despite the very high printing speed.
  • very low material consumption, I used less than 200g of PLA
  • The printed pieces are very light and will not weigh down your box.

3D PRINTING SETTINGSFollow these simple instructions: set your slicer to print in vase mode, even at a low resolution, I managed to print at 0.32 without any problems; set the extrusion thickness to 0.82 to get more stable walls and you're done! (I tested these settings on a Prusa Slicer with an Ender 3 and a Prusa mk3 without any problems).

For material, since it is cheap and readily available online, my recommendation is plain PLA.

For insert number 01 I have made two versions, one to keep the plastic marker holders separate and one to be able to insert the markers already attached to the markers.

Since I lost the marker holders for my Tales of Evil board game several times, I decided to design one myself and make it available to all of you for free
