DESCRIPTION

3D MODEL OF THE MIKASA BV550C, STEP, STL AND FUSION FILE.The international beach volleyball elite welcomed Mikasa's new beach volleyball, the BV550C, during the Beach Pro Tour Finals in Doha.

The model, which has become the official and exclusive ball of the Beach Pro Tour, the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in Mexico in October, and the 2024 Paris Olympics, is the culmination of decades of research and development.Mikasa listened to feedback from the world's best players and coaches to develop a ball that combines cutting-edge technology with respect for the environment like never before.

This ball uses recycled nylon for the first time, and its flamboyant color combination (Golden Sands Yellow, Endless Skies Blue, and Scorching Sun Red) is printed with water-based inks. These two actions significantly reduce environmental impact.

A unique dimpled surface improves grip and allows for gentle, enhanced fingertip control. The most iconic beach volleyball shots will become even faster and more spectacular. The new technology has reduced water absorption, significantly reducing weight variation compared to conventional balls. The BV550C has modified the shape of the valve: the new design will reduce the adhesion and retention of micrograins of sand.

The surface design reflects Mikasa's partnership with Volleyball World: the combination of three new colors and their contrast increases the visibility of the ball for both players on the court and spectators in the stands or watching TV.
