Alien Isolation Motion Tracker

The motion tracker appears in the game Alien Isolation to track the alien position. In the finished print i added a green LED stripe and a plastic glass panel. You can use the switch on the side to turn the light on. The model was created on my own with SolidWorks 2019. The tracker is 270mm high, was made accurate as possible and is divided in 14 parts:

  • body_1 & 2
  • frame_1 & 2
  • plate
  • connection_1 & 2
  • sign
  • switch
  • box
  • light
  • nut (2x)
  • regulator (2x)
  • grid
  • handle
  1. My print settings: 0.2mm height of layer with support and raft
  2. Files: in stl. obj. and 3mf.

Recommended
Overall a very good model both for fit and appearance. The orientation for printing has to be adjusted, but that is easily done when printing. One important improvement that would make this an excellent model however would be to make the screen and main unit housing hollow so as to much more easily mount and install electronics, lights etc. This would also reduce wastage of unnecessary printed PLA filler. If you make these modifications, I would happily give it a 10 out of 10. As is I give it a 7 out of 10.
