Print in Place Articulated Horse Model Hey everyone! With the Year of the Horse just around the corner, I’m thrilled to reveal my latest creation - an articulated horse model
License Notice:This model is free for personal, non-commercial use only. If you'd like to sell physical prints or monetize it in any way, please visit my Patreon for licensing options and to support future designs.
The model measures 113 × 109 × 52 mm (about 4.45 × 4.29 × 2.05 inches)
The model is designed to be printed at the provided size - scaling it down may affect the articulation and joint clearance, so adjust carefully if you choose to resize.
Recommended Print Settings:
- Layer Height: 0.15–0.2 mm
- Infill: 10–15%
- Perimeters/Walls: 2
- Supports: Not required (model is support-free)
- Material: PLA recommended
- Orientation: Print flat on the build plate
Note:Before printing, make sure your printer bed is clean and properly leveled for the best adhesion. Also, double-check all temperature and speed settings based on the filament type you’re using to ensure optimal results.
Scaling Notice:This model is carefully tuned for smooth articulation at its original size. Scaling the model up or down may affect joint tolerances, causing parts to become too tight or too loose.
For the best articulation, check that joints move freely after cooling - gently flex each part to loosen up the hinges.
