What is that?
This is an original character, a dragon cat of the tide! A werid dragon marmaid for this summer.
Made by a human:
Made using zbrush for ipad + blender. Colors for my test: made with Regolith software online for 3D printing. Slicing software made it printable!
How to print:
Use supports (tree slim) and pla for supports. Better with dual extruders and multitool printers.
Colors:
use translucent blue filaments to get the water effect! use white for the foam and silk or metallic for the jewels.
Easy to paint:
really really easy! use wash shades to get instant shadows and a dry brush or acrylic markers for the white foam + metallic paint or metallic marker for the jewels!
Print it in the easy way: slice a bit the base to get a more solid flat first layer.
Clean the bed and do not touch it with your hands, you must of course use gloves!
Dry the filaments to prevent a lot of common problems with pla quality.
PLA is ok, of you have a dual nozzle you can use the specific filament for supports.
Multicolor is really awesome with that kind of model: be creative! Remember to use only one safe filament to get strongest supports if you can.
Enjoy!
