Hey everyone! Meet the Articulated Cobra - a detailed, flexible model designed for smooth articulation, expressive posing, and a striking display presence.

This cobra is built with carefully tuned joints and separate parts to achieve better detail and strength where it matters most. Whether you’re printing for display, photography, or just enjoying the satisfying movement, this model is made to feel solid and rewarding straight off the printer.

Model Overview:

• Articulated cobra with smooth, flexible body
• Designed to use 8 mm round glass eyes
• Prints in multiple parts for cleaner detail and easier finishing, note fangs needs to be glued in!
• Optimized and tested at its original scale
• Designed for FDM printers
• Total length: approximately 77 cm (30.3 inches) when printed at 100% scale
• Sized to fit the Bambu P1S build plate (256 × 256 mm)

The model is separated into the following components:

• Articulated body
• Head
• Lower jaw
• Eyes
• Fangs
• Tongue

This setup allows for better detail, easier printing, and more control during assembly.

Recommended Print Settings:

• Printer Type: FDM
• Layer Height: 0.16–0.2 mm
• Infill: 10–15%
• Walls/Perimeters: 2–3
• Top/Bottom Layers: 3–4
• Supports: Not required
• Brim: Optional (use if needed for bed adhesion)
• Material: PLA recommended
• Nozzle Temp: 200–210°C
• Bed Temp: 50–60°C

All parts are optimized for support-free printing, so you can simply load the file and start printing without extra setup.

Scaling NoticeThis model is carefully tuned for smooth articulation at its original size. Scaling the model up or down may affect joint tolerances, causing parts to become too tight or too loose.
