Karuba Board Game Organizer Insert

Karuba Board Game Organizer Insert 3D print model

Description

Organizer for the Karuba board game, designed for upright storage in the retail game box.

Special print/usage instructions:

-- TileTray = Print three; barely fits on my Prusa i3 MK3 (200 mm x 250 mm print bed).

-- TileTower = for use by the expedition leader, who draws the tiles; the three TileTrays then allow for a four-player game.

-- BoardBrace = Print two for the square holes in UpperBrace.

Can you please specify the x & y dimensions of the tile tray?

Thanks. My Ender 3 has a 210x210 bed, I don't have a lot of experience splitting models & gluing yet. It seems like gluing on the little connectors between grid segments would likely be too fragile. Any suggestions on what might be the best way to proceed? I really like the idea of storage & organization in one tray like that.

Ooooo, good question. The only experience that I have is either gluing (which, I agree, would be problematic with those thin trays) or adding a dovetail-like connector (as in my Inis organizer). But again, there is not a lot of surface area to work with on those trays, so I don't see a dovetail working there either. I'm a bit stymied at the moment ... maybe a Prusa i3 MK3 on the birthday/Christmas/St. Patrick's Day gift list? ;)

Useful to store the game horizontaly, but with the kids it's not always easy, so I created a simple square to replace the BoardBrace and avoid thing moving when transportation.
