Hello fellow gamers! My custom designed insert for Cosmoctopus is now complete and ready for download and printing. This is an easy to pick up light family engine builder game that has adorable art with a cute theme of summoning a cosmic cephalopod being called the Cosmoctopus. First player to summon eight of its tentacles along with the final centerpiece wins the game. The Kickstarter version that I worked from included a nicely themed tentacle tray for the resources and I wanted to be sure to keep that usable rather than replace it so my design incorporates space for that tentacle tray while also keeping the lid secure.

There's some very light DIY work that you'll need to do to create a false bottom within the box but it's very simple. There's an image provided that shows the dimensions of where to cut your foam core board at to fit inside the game box. The foot files (Lx1 and S-x2) that comes with this insert are then super glued to the bottom of the foam core board to keep stability.

All files are in STL format and are downloadable as a single zip file. Each file name has the print quantity needed to complete the insert.

All of the components fit flush to the top of the box and with the lid being on, everything will be secure.
