DESCRIPTION

Laptop stand has been designed to minimise the use of USB coolers.

The principle build of vents as hexagonal design is inspired from Honeybee's Comb, it maintains the strength with minimal use of material, further helping more air to pass into the processor cooler fan. The size is kept in such a way that maximum air inflow is provided for faster cooling of CPU also keeping in mind the carry load of it.

The concept of vents is inspired by compressed air cooling technique, this technique helps inflow of cooler air to get into processor fan, thus resulting faster and effective cooling without use of any external devices or forces.

If you notice, the laptop stand has kept at an angle for three reasons:

  1. The angle provides a gap for air to pass through wherever you use the stand.
  2. It helps your laptop on rest at an angle where wrist are not much bent, hence relieving from wrist bends while typing.
  3. Tilt helps the screen stay perpendicular to your eyes, which effectively reduces eye strain.

I have tried to cover maximum uses of it. You can add your concepts and make the maximum use out of it.

I have included 3d printable,STEP and IGES files in case you wish to custom make your laptop stand.
