This pack contains everything you need to cosplay Qimir accurately. Included is the V2 Helmet, the V2 Gauntlet and his ‘X’ back brace.

The mysterious and bad ass sith lord trained by Darth Plagueis himself; Qimir, The Stranger or simply ‘The Master’ from The Acolyte series.

To say we went to great lengths to design this helmet accurately is an understatement. It has been more than a year long project from the first draft to the new V2. Every detail has been meticulously researched and modelled to be as accurate as possible to the show helmet.

As we got to see a brand new angle of the gauntlet thanks to the Qimir standee, we have added a more detailed buckle.

The gauntlet comes in 2 main parts clam shell style and joins with 12 x (4mm x 8mm) cyildrical neodymium magnets (not included).

All parts are separated for easier printing and building.

FOR SIZING

Helmet is scaled to fo fit a head of 60cm circumference when measured at the brow. For the Gauntlet; Measure the circumference of your wrist. In the folder there are test rings for sizing. This is a thin slice of the two halves of the gauntlet. Print the wrist test ring at 100%, 95%, 90% etc. Due to the thin size this will only take a few minutes each. Measure the inside of the test rings to see which one will fit you best. Scale all parts to that percent and print as normal. remember to scale the greeblies as well.

V2 Helmet Changes

We reshaped the whole shape of the helmet to give an accurate profile, completely re-designed the teeth from scratch making them hollow with vertical fixing points giving more room in the helmet, filled in the top gums, raised up the mouth, reshaped the lower jaw, reduced the jaw width, made the jaw cut outs accurately shaped. Flared out and extended the back shroud and added accurate crinkling. Stretched out and increased the thickness of the upper rear hood. Re-designed the cheek greeblie. Extended and re-mapped the entire weld lines across the whole helmet and chin and added realistic weld texturing. Added about 4,000,000,000% more accurate battle damage and scratches over the whole helmet. Re-textured the whole helmet. Extended the vertical scratch lines over the top and added deep scratch textures. Extra damage to the eye, added more detail to the chin accessory. Ditched the magnet idea and added male/female glue points to the jaw. Added location points to the dome of the helmet and - so you can print the central upper and lower teeth separately (for higher detail printing and thus easier and better filling, sanding and painting, we added a bracket that sits behind the central teeth to hold the jaw and upper helmet together without negating on space.
