Measuring Instructions
Use calipers, not a soft measuring tape, for best accuracy.
Measure face width
Measure straight across the face from temple to temple (outer edge to outer edge).
Measure face height
From the bridge of the nose down to the chin where the mask should end.
Check model size
Import the model into your slicer and check current X (width) and Y (height).
Scale uniformly
Scale the model so the inside width of the mask matches your face width.
Always prioritize width for comfort.
Printing Instructions
Recommended printing: FDM or Resin
Layer height:
FDM: 0.12–0.2 mm
Resin: 0.03–0.05 mm
Infill: 10–15% (FDM)
Supports:
Required for horns and lattice overhangs
Tree supports recommended for clean removal
Print orientation: Face-forward or slightly tilted back for best detail
Finishing Tips
Sand lightly and prime before painting
Matte black, bone, metallic, or iridescent finishes work especially well
Dry brushing highlights the lattice and skull details
Gloss varnish on horns adds a dramatic contrast
Optional eye mesh or fabric can be glued behind the lattice for effect
Fitting & Wearing Tips
Attach elastic straps, ribbon ties, or leather cords through side openings
EVA foam or neoprene padding inside improves comfort and stability
Always test fit before final finishing
If the mask feels slightly tight, gently heat with a hairdryer or heat gun on LOWand carefully reshape around a mannequin head or padded surface
Do not overheat — gradual warming works best
