Marvel Badge Designs With Colors

Marvel Badge Designs With Colors 3D print model

Description

This collection includes a set of Marvel badges in two versions (flat back and with a slide in hole for a 25 mm brooch back pin https://www.ebay.com/itm/50pcs-25mm-Brooch-Back-Bar-Pins-Safety-Catch-Broach-Badge-Silver-Tone-Hot-Sale/183693220865 – no glue needed). Both versions print without supports. Some badges also have different versions (like Iron-Man’s helmet – triangle, circle, mask shape). Some of the badges are based on the characters logo and some (like Dr. Strange, Hawkeye or Vision) are original designs based on the character. These were really fun to make and we would like to make more characters in the future. PRINTER SETTINGS You can print these badges colourfully on all 3D printers that use filament. They are designed so that each colour is on a different height level so that the colour changes are made by printing whole layers different colours. To make the badges print multicolour you can either pause the print manually after the correct layer or the smarter option is to set in the g-code a colour change and the printer will pause by itself and ask for a colour change. The options for doing it automatically are described here: https://blog.prusaprinters.org/color-print/. They are either uploading your g-code to Colorprint or slicing the model in Prusaslicer and setting the colour change there or manually typing in M600 in the gcode before the part that should print in a new colour. We recommend a layer height of 0.2 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to the printing platform for easy manipulation. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.

SCALE At 100% scale the badges dimensions are approximately: Width: 50 mm Thickness: 3.5 mm

Of course, you can scale the badges as you wish but the hole in the version ready to insert a brooch pin will only work well at 100% scale. If you want it bigger or smaller but still have the option to put a brooch pin in there you can subtract from it this model of ours: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2850048 to make the hole. If you want just some badges separately you can find them here: https://3d-mon.com/3d-model/groupe/unisex3dprintmodel/marvel-badges-separately-model/

Do you like the model and don't have a 3D printer? There are lots of people who offer 3D printing services these days. Try searching for someone who offers them in your area.
