Sri Yantra Pack 3D print model

Description

In Sanskrit, the word yantra is derived from the root “yam,” meaning “instrument or support,” and “tra” which comes from “trana” meaning “liberation from bondage.”

A yantra is an instrument for meditation and contemplation that aids in spiritual liberation. There are thousands of yantra designs related to gods and planets. Used in rituals and ceremonies, yantra designs can be found on paper or bark, or they can be created from flower petals, ashes, and rice.

Meaning of sri yantra This symbol is made up of nine interlocking triangles that radiate outward from the center or connecting point. This central point is considered the meeting place or union between the physical world and the spiritual world or the unmanifested source. Of the nine triangles, four point upward toward the sky and are believed to represent the god Shiva (the masculine), while the other five, which point downward, represent Shakti (or the feminine). This is why the Buddhist mandala is believed to be a strong symbol for the union of the divine masculine and feminine.
