Like many classic monster fans, I grew up fascinated by the Universal films and the unforgettable characters that defined horror for generations. The Wolf Man has always been one of my favorites, and this bust began simply as a personal project—a tribute to one of the greatest monster designs ever put on film. I enjoyed sculpting it so much that I decided to make it available in case another Monster Kid would like to add it to their collection.

Inspired by Lon Chaney Jr.'s iconic performance in The Wolf Man (1941), the sculpture captures the creature at full fury, head thrown back in a ferocious howl, jaws wide open and fangs bared. My goal was to recreate the distinctive makeup created by Jack Pierce while giving the bust the dramatic presence that made the original film so memorable.

Every strand of fur, every wrinkle in the shirt, and every fold of the stone base was sculpted by hand with the intention of creating a display piece that looks as though it stepped right out of the golden age of horror cinema.

To make printing easier, I designed the model in three separate parts:

Separating the model this way allows it to fit comfortably on smaller resin printers, minimizes supports in critical areas, and gives you greater flexibility when choosing the final print size.
